An eerie scene of a car passing through a valley at night gives the feel of watching something secretive. The minimal and almost alien colors heighten the mystery. The title is taken from one of the stages in Joseph Campbell's hero journey: the crossing of the threshold, a point of no return. The background paint color is created from the same pigment used in the large drawing "The Cabin"
